The current campaign is the Tales of Betshal designed by our DM Lewis Power

Betshal is the crown jewel of the realm. A sprawling city state situated on an island just off the coast of the continent of Odan. Betshal is a truly massive empire and is the economic and cultural centre of the know realm. Think along the lines of Babylon, Alexandria, New York and London combined and you can start to imagine the size and scope of Betshal. The city is split into six huge walled boroughs and our story begins in the poorest and most common of them all: The Ward.

The Ward is almost a city in itself, stretching from the wall through marketplaces, businesses, pubs and inns, to the docks on the coast. The Ward is the lowest part of the island empire, socially and geographically. The streets are alive with performers, venders, thugs, families and vagrants. The smell of ale, smoke, spices and sewerage pervade the air almost any where you are in The Ward.

Magic is highly restricted in this city for anyone who is not a member of the elite classes or the government but the influence of arcane practices can be seen throughout the city in the form of diluted magical objects used for everday tasks such as the 'everlight lamps' or 'smart stones'

Anyone caught using unauthorized magic is subject to reconditioning, forced service and even death.
